The word Kasuri can be translated to “blurred” and references the tendency for kasuri designs to appear hazy. Complementing this lush textile is an exquisite antique trim, an early 20th-century ribbon with flocked dark brown cow spots (!), edged in metallic thread, and speckled with painterly color. It’s weird, wonderful, and completely unique.

The backing is crafted from a solid beige silk textile that complements the front’s vibrant plaid tones. This piece is perfect for collectors, maximalist homes, or anyone looking to introduce conversation-starting design into their space.
